China
At least 90 people have died and thousands have been infected with the Wuhan virus. The virus-also referred to as coronavirus-originated in Wuhan, China almost two weeks ago. Since then, multiple cases have been reported in the US, France, Thailand, Japan, and many other countries. China has responded by restricting access into four of its cities and is building a 1,000-bed hospital in under 10 days (in Wuhan) to house those who are infected.

United States
The pentagon confirmed at least 34 US soldiers were injured as a result of the Iranian missile strikes on US bases in early January. The soldiers were diagnosed with TBI (traumatic brain injury) as a result, and some of them were flown to Germany for immediate medical health. The pentagons' statement refutes that of President Trump, who stated on January 8th that no US personnel had been injured in the attacks.
