The European Union approved Brexit on Wednesday, and Britain will officially leave on Friday. From then, there will be a transition period until the beginning of 2021 where the EU and Britain will have to negotiate new trade/border/security deals.

Israel/United States
President Trump released details of his Israeli-Palestinian plan. Trump wants to recognize Israeli settlements in the West bank as legitimate, even though the International community disputes their legality. Israeli President Netanyahu called the plan "historic" while the Palestinians rebuked it as being biased and unfair.

The coronavirus has continued to spread, with over 180 dead and 8,000 confirmed cases (As many as 25,000 could be infected). During the last couple of days, multiple countries have attempted to evacuate their infected citizens from the Wuhan area and the WHO continues to discuss whether the virus should be dubbed an international emergency.

Afghanistan
A United States Air Force plane was downed on Monday, but the cause is still unknown. The plane -a E11A Bombardier- looks like a private jet with multiple cameras and surveillance equipment attached to the bottom which are used to gather intelligence on the Taliban. The Air Force quickly clarified that the plane was not believed to have been shot down, and an investigation is on the way.
