Over 90 priceless pieces of jewelry were stolen form a museum in Germany on Monday. Some of the items stolen included jewel encrusted swords and 18th century cut diamonds, overall, the museum was not able to place a monetary value on such pieces and called their value "immeasurable". Even though police locked down the surrounding streets, the thieves escaped and are still on the run.
President Trump wants to designate Mexican drug cartels as Terrorist Organizations, Mexico says no. The Mexican government has stated that giving drug cartels this name will allow the United States to intervene in Mexico's affairs, and many are worried that US drones would be sent into Mexico without seeking permission.
Germany and France released a joint statement which explained where the EU should be heading in regards to security, immigration, Russia/Chinese interference, and more. This comes after French President called NATO "brain dead" and incapable of functioning without the United States, and as the influx of immigrants into Europe continues. The statement outlined what had to be done in order to strengthen the European Union and keep it together.
