Iraq's Prime Minister resigned on Saturday as anti-government protests turned violent. Iraqi citizens had taken to the streets to protest government corruption and the political power that neighboring Iran has over Iraq. Due to the governments violent response, at least 400 people have been killed and thousands left injured.

President Bolsonaro has been widely criticized for allowing and even pushing farmers to burn parts of the Amazon in order to clear the land, and is now blaming the wildfires on American actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor rejected the statement and reminded the President of his contributions to environmental groups focused on saving the Amazon.
